- Instructor: Fr. Antony Andrews, M.A., D.Min.
- Duration: 8 weeks
Ministering to Coptic Orthodox parishioners and others who are sick or dying is an essential work of the Church. Jesus Christ Himself commissions us to do this type of visitation to those who are sick. Today many people find themselves in hospitals or palliative care institutions with no one to sympathize, empathize and simply to listen to. Learn the theology of the human body and some of these skills to enhance your ministry to the sick and the dying. Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) methods will be explored and students will be required to apply those in actual field work assignments.
This course is offered only in the Fall 1 module (September-October, 2019).
