Fr. Kyrillos Sadek is priest of St. Mary & St. Mina Coptic Orthodox Church in Syracuse, NY. Fr. Kyrillos holds a Ph.D. degree from the University of
Virginia (1998), a M.S. from the University of Virginia (1995), and a B.Sc from the University of Alexandria, Egypt (1991), all in Engineering. Before his ordination, Fr. Kyrillos served in many churches including St. Mina Coptic Orthodox Church (Fleming) Alexandria, Egypt, St. Mark’s Coptic
Orthodox Church Washington, D.C., St. Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Church Boston, MA, St. Mary Coptic Orthodox Church Montreal, Canada, St. Mary and Archangel Raphael Coptic Community South Burlington, Vermont and St. Mary and St. Moses Coptic Orthodox Church Buffalo, NY. Fr. Kyrillos was also Professor of Civil Engineering at the University at Buffalo, and before that at the University of Vermont, where he taught both undergraduate and graduate courses, and conducted research in transportation systems. On May 4, he was ordained Deacon Yostos by his Grace Bishop David at St. Mary & St. Moses Coptic Orthodox Church Buffalo, NY, and on May 11, 2014 Deacon Yostos received the sacrament of priesthood and was ordained Father Kyrillos by His Grace Bishop David to serve St. Mary & St. Mina’s Coptic Orthodox Church Syracuse, NY.
