In this course, you will develop evidence-based skills to defend the Christian faith, understanding scientific, historical, textual and theological ways of verifying and reconstructing Scriptural texts, and begin to understand the background of the New Testament writings. Upon completion of this introductory course, the student should be able to answer the most prominent challenging questions targeting Christian theology, including God and problem of suffering, new atheist and agnostic claims, God and modern science, the historical reliability of the New Testament, most common biblical difficulties, the divinity of Christ, and reasons for Christianity as the defensible faith.
